BABES is a raunchy comedy starring two manic women going through the trials and tribulations of pregnancy—messy bodily fluids and all. The film is also about how hard it is to maintain friendships and still deal with the endless demands of parenthood. Maybe because I’m obviously not in the demographic this movie is aimed at, I found the often vulgar humor of these two over-the-top characters a little hard to take. Any young woman thinking about having a baby could benefit from seeing this crude in-your-face comedy. But I can’t recommend it for anyone past their child bearing years. (IN THEATERS)
