Imagine if you somehow got the chance to talk with a loved one who’s no longer living. That’s what happens to the lonely screenplay writer in ALL OF US STRANGERS, a beautiful movie about grief, loneliness, love and healing. Andrew Scott gives a heartbreaking performance as a gay middle aged man who gets to spend time his parents who died just as he was about to turn 12 in 1987. ALL OF US STRANGERS may sound like a ghost fantasy, but it feels like a gentle, loving, and very realistic dream. It’s one of the best movies of the year. (Kahala Mall & Dole Cannery)
