80 year old Michael Mann is known as the master filmmaker of movies like HEAT and THE LAST OF THE MOHICANS. His new film is FERRARI starring Adam Driver and Penelope Cruz. Driver gives a commanding performance as the relentless Eno Ferrari, the man whose company built and sold sports cars to finance his passion for racing cars. Cruz is even better as his hurt and angry wife who owns half of their car company. The racing scenes are thrilling and the family drama intense during a three month period in 1957. “Deadly passion and terrible joy” are what FERRARI is all about. (Only in theaters)
