Murder investigation underway after Hawaii woman found dead in Washington State

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Detectives are investigating the apparent murder of a woman from Hawaii in Washington State.

Seattle police said they found the body of 26-year-old Zoey He in her boyfriend’s home in Olympic Hills on Saturday.

The 25-year-old suspect, Andy Chu, told police he couldn’t remember why he attacked her, but said that he had taken drugs that day. He added that he did remember choking her, twisting her neck, and holding her underwater in the bathtub.

Chu’s bail is set at $5 million.
