HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - HPD has reclassified its case against Rainbow Warriors star receiver Steven McBride on Monday, according to officials.

The 22-year-old case went from felony abuse of a family member to two counts of petty misdemeanor.

McBride was arrested on Saturday after he allegedly shoved a woman who was holding a baby.

UH officials say he remains suspended indefinitely from all team activities with the Rainbow Warriors.

The investigation is ongoing.
