Steven Glover

Steven Glover is a native of the vibrant Triangle area, born from Raleigh and raised in Apex, North Carolina. With graduation on the horizon from East Carolina University, he's set to receive his bachelor’s degree in communication with a minor in History come May 2024. His dedication to academic excellence has been recognized at ECU, with his inclusion on the Dean's List.

Steven's journey into the world of media began over a year ago in Raleigh, where he served as a Promotion Assistant for WRAL-FM. However, it wasn't just behind-the-scenes work for him; he found his passion in the studio, board operating live coverage of college and professional hockey games, conducting interviews, and assisting the stations' social media presence.

After working in radio, Steven's passion for storytelling and filmmaking took root. With a camera by his side and a desire to capture the heart of local stories, he ventured into the world of reporting, driven by curiosity and a genuine fondness for meeting new people and sharing their stories along with sharing historical stories of the area around him.

Steven is thrilled to join the WITN family, and eager to immerse himself in the beautiful community of New Bern. He's prepared to dive into the heart of local stories, amplifying the voices of the people and the narratives that shape their lives.

Outside of work, you can often find Steven filming moments with his camera, at the gym, or enjoying the waterfront.
