Stalled vehicles, crash on H-1 Freeway leave eastbound commute at near standstill

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Two separate stalled vehicles on the H-1 Freeway near the Vineyard exit has left the eastbound commute at a near standstill Thursday morning.
Police blocked the off two far left lanes of the H-1 from the Vineyard Off-ramp to the Liliha Access Overpass for a stalled water delivery truck around 5 a.m.
The second vehicle was off into the right shoulder lane.
Officials told HNN that shortly after moving the stalled truck from the scene, it ended up crashing near the Pali off-ramp.
No injuries were reported.
At last check, the lanes have been reopened but traffic is still heavy heading into town.
Traffic cameras showed gridlock stretched out all the way across the airport viaduct, on Moanalua Freeway and North Nimitz Highway.
Drivers are advised to expect delays.
