Inspired in Hawaii Contest

The Clarence T.C. Ching Foundation "Inspired in Hawaii" Contest encourages Hawaii's students to "dream big and make Hawaii a better place." This year's contest has $20,000 in cash awards for both students and their teachers who place first, second or third.
What makes a winning entry?
- Pick a topic you are passionate about and clearly present a thoughtful, creative solution.
- Make sure you have edited your essay for spelling and grammar.
- Review the judging criteria in each division to get the highest scores possible.
- Look at winning entries from the prior years on the Foundation’s website.
When is the contest deadline?
All entries must be received no later than 4:00 p. m. on Friday, November 4, 2016. Do not email entries. Please mail or deliver to:
