The Honolulu Firefighters Foundation Celebrates its 4th Annual Food Festival
(Hawaii News Now) - This Friday, The 4th Annual Signature Chefs Food Festival will be happening at The Honolulu Fire Department Headquarters Complex in downtown Honolulu. It's a benefit for the Honolulu Firefighters Foundation (HFF).
For the first time, this event will include a cook-off by Honolulu Fire Department (HFD) firefighters. Guests will be able to sample the firefighters' favorite recipes in addition to dishes by some of Honolulu's best chefs from Beachhouse at the Moana, Chef Chai, Culinary Institute of the Pacific, Hawaii Job Corps Center, JJ Bistro & French Pastry, Liliha Bakery, Mariposa, Poke Stop, Roy's, Sheraton Waikiki's Kai Market, Side Street Inn, Sprinks!, Tango Contemporary Café and The Royal Hawaiian.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the HFF and its mission to promote, educate and support public safety. This year, the HFF is looking forward to developing a partnership with the Straub Clinic and Hospital Burn Unit, which is the Pacific Region's only multi-disciplinary burn treatment center delivering quality burn care to the community.
