HUGS Love Gala

(Hawaii News Now) - If you knew that a child and their family were in need of friendship, guidance or social interaction would you open your heart to them? Now imagine that child being affected by a life threatening illness that could rob them of their life.  What would you do to help?

HUGS provides financial, emotional and crisis support to over 200 families annually around the state who struggle with caring for a child with a life threatening illness.  HUGS offers its services free of charge to moms, dads, patients and siblings, while receiving no government funding.  This support is possible because of the strong community that we have, and your contribution can help us to continue to provide emergency medical airfare, camp for siblings, funeral expenses, and support groups for mom's and dad's, to name a few.

Please join us for the HUGS Love Gala at The Modern Honolulu on October 19^th from 5:00 – 10:00pm.  Along with a cocktail hour, live music and live and silent auctions, Macy's, our corporate honoree, will be presenting a fashion show.

The annual HUGS Love Gala is a night to honor HUGS families, volunteers, service groups and corporate sponsors, while raising funds to support our statewide services. Your support is needed to allow us to continue our mission of serving families during very challenging times.
