HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The county is offering advice for Oahu’s registered voters now that the Aug. 10 primary election is approaching.

Some 460,000 mail-in ballots should begin arriving in the mail this week.

If you don’t get one, you may need to update your address with the Office of Elections.

Also, if you make a mistake on your ballot, do not erase or whiteout the error. Instead, follow the instructions on your ballot to request a replacement.

Voters can request ballots in Chinese, Ilocano, Tagalog, and for the first time Native Hawaiian.

The city will have two in-person voter service centers at Honolulu Hale and Kapolei Hale, along with 16 drop boxes across the island.

There will also be two popup voter service centers at Kaneohe and Wahiawa district parks.

Make sure to sign your ballot or else it will not be accepted.

Also, you do not need a stamp as it is pre-addressed and postage is paid.
