HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The family and friends of a Hawaii woman who was tragically murdered in Washington State are seeking justice.

They started a GoFundMe page for Zoey He to help with memorial services, support her family and dog as well as assist with upcoming legal expenses.

He, a McKinley High School and University of Hawaii at Manoa alum, was found dead in Seattle four days shy of her 26th birthday.

Loved ones described her as “always respectful, quiet and extremely generous.”

Seattle police said they found her body in her boyfriend’s home in Olympic Hills. Her boyfriend Andy Chu has since been charged with her murder. He is being held on $5 million bail.

Court documents said the autopsy of the victim noted blunt force trauma to her face, head, neck, chest, arms, and legs. In addition, the autopsy revealed a large, heavy white ball that was lodged in her throat at the base of her tongue.

The case remains under investigation.
