Officials: No emergency after outdoor warning siren malfunctions in Waikiki

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Officials said there is no emergency after an outdoor warning siren sounded off Sunday night in Waikiki.

The Hawaii Emergency Management Agency added that it was a false alarm and technicians are investigating to see what caused the impromptu alarm.
