Oahu man, 40, accused of plowing into HPD officer with stolen car

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Honolulu Police Department officials have identified a 40-year-old man accused of plowing into an HPD officer with a stolen car in Ewa Beach on Monday night.

Officials say Jeffrey Pascua allegedly accelerated at the officer on Auwaha Street around 11:20 p.m.

The officer has since been discharged from the hospital.

HPD says Pascua faces an attempted murder charge.

The investigation is ongoing.
