HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A Campbell High School senior’s award-winning video project is raising awareness about mental health struggles among teens.

Chauncey Viernes’ video is about a boy who feels unattractive and works up the courage to shatter his self-doubt. In this episode of “Muthaship,” the 17-year-old from Ewa Beach talks about his creative process.

He also has some helpful advice for fellow teens.
